Ruben and Irech meet in the fifth grade. If you hear Ruben's side, Irech was his school crush but never paid attention. If you hear Irech's side, she held a flame for him the whole time. Where it all started...serendipity.

Many years pass while both lived their separate lives until social media made it possible for Ruben and Irech to reconnect as friends. P.S. at this point...Irech had never saved Ruben's phone number. She lived in Florida. He lived in Pennsylvania.

Fast forward to when we decided to take the plunge and our first long distance dates were full of awkward silences and blushing smiles...
